The Scenario
After a series of very successful electronic cards produced for Manulife Singapore, they wanted something a little different for sending out to their clients to wish them Happy Birthday.
The Process
Although the concept was very simple, I decided to add this into my portfolio because it was one of those rare moments where I took a project from start to finish single-handedly. As Creative Director, I usually do not go into actual production but because the bulk of my team was on vacation and we had committed to producing the work within two weeks, I decided to roll up my sleeves and produce the work myself.
Due to the time constrains, I could not do the modelling myself and had bought a rigged model from TURBOSQUID instead but everything else from the screenplay, the preparation of assets in PHOTOSHOP, the 3D animation in MAX, the SFX in After Effects, the Sound Mixing in SOUNDBOOTH, the production in PREMIER and converting it into consumer digestible format in FLASH before integrating it into a viewable web page was handled solely by me. Hopefully, this can showcase my other skills besides copywriting.
